A teenager accused of committing two counts of simple larceny was on Friday placed on bail in the sum of $50,000 when she appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
It is alleged that on January 28 at Georgetown, 17-year-old Patricia
Shaker stole $144,000, property of Latoya Monker.
It is also alleged that on February 9 at Georgetown, Shaker stole $30,000, property of the same Monker.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to both charges when they were read to her by the acting chief magistrate.
The unrepresented Shaker was ordered to return to court on September 10.
