A teenager who allegedly had a quantity of cannabis in his possession was yesterday placed on $35,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
It is alleged that on July 20 at Georgetown, Alex Sobers, 18, of 29 West La Penitence had in his possession 10 grams of cannabis.
Sobers pleaded not guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics when it was read to him by the magistrate.
He was ordered to return to court on November 8.
