The body of a 53-year-old watchman of Limlair, Corentyne was discovered at around 8:30 am on Thursday at Fort Ordnance, Canje where he was employed with a contracting firm.
Cedric Bagot was found face-down in a building that is used as an office by the contractors. Police sources said there were no marks of violence on his body but there was blood on his mouth.
Reports are that Bagot lived in a shack about 100 feet away from the office. He would sometimes enter the office through an open window to sleep in a hammock.
Bagot who also worked as a labourer with the firm was last seen alive by co-workers.
