Volumes s tacked outside the building

Persons who visited the High Courts yesterday morning were greeted by the sight of these volumes stacked outside the building.  When Stabroek News contacted Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court Rashid Mohamed he explained that the books were placed there yesterday temporarily in order to facilitate the building of a new vault to store them. According to him, the old vault had recently collapsed and needed to be replaced. He said that construction of the new vault was expected to begin yesterday.
