Rudolf Mitchell won his 95th consecutive race at this year’s Forbes Burnham Memorial Race Walk which was staged by the Cavaliers Sports and Tour Club (CSTC) yesterday from the National Cultural Centre to the Seven Ponds at the Botanical Gardens.
Twenty-two race walkers from around the country participated in the event.
Brian Roberts placed second and Andre Caines and Shellon Bobb, third and fourth respectively.
Meanwhile, Mitchell will be aiming to step closer to a century of victories when the club stages a six-lap race today at the National Park from 6:30am.
