Magistrate Priya Beharry granted a man accused of stealing a bottle of coffee from the Fogarty’s Supermarket $20,000 bail when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
It is alleged that last week Thursday at Georgetown, Anthony Ramkissoon stole one bottle of coffee valued $1,640. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of simple larceny when he appeared in court.
No representative from the Supermarket attended court.
Ramkissoon gave his address as the night shelter.
