Well known local singer Czerina Ali died last week Thursday at her home.
Stabroek News understands that the singer, who was known for her sultry voice, suffered from a number of medical complications.
Several years ago a benefit concert was held in her honour, proceeds from which she used to seek medical treatment overseas.
Her last known public performance was at the inaugural Accolade Music Awards last year where she performed the opening song along with Celeste David, Teneisha DeFreitas, Charmaine Blackman and Delma Lynch.
The mother of two will be laid to rest tomorrow and her funeral service would be held at the Theatre Guild.
