The Guyana Relief Council has provided assistance to the family members of Joseph Fordyce of 2nd St, Silvertown, Wismar who were affected by fire on August 28.
The council said in a release that it provided mattresses, clothing, kitchen utensils and groceries.
For the year, the council says it has helped 37 families comprising 171 persons.
