Dear Editor,
I recently wrote a letter to this newspaper advocating that parliament should clarify and/or correct the legislation governing road traffic regulations pertaining to signage (September 2). However, the title, ‘Signs should be circular not octagonal,’ that your staff attached to my letter has misled many of your readers. I did not advocate or insinuate that road signs should be any particular shape. I am in fact a strong advocate for clear, precise, enforceable, and enforced rules and regulations!
Yours faithfully,
Jeremy Gravesande
