The Meten-Meer-Zorg Islamic Academy said it recorded 85% passes in seven subject areas at the recent CSEC exams.
In a press release the CIOG-affiliated school which
has a population of 375, said the results were as a result of the hardworking principal MO Ali, staff and pupils. The Academy also singled out four top students for their excellent performance. Roshanna Ally of Cornelia Ida passed seven subjects gaining one distinction, five grade ones and one grade two; Bibi Nazeela Farouk of Meten-Meer-Zorg also gained seven passes with two grade ones, three grade twos and two grade threes. Additionally, Aslim Khan of Tuschen gained seven subjects with five grade twos and two grade threes and Nabela Basdeo of Zeelugt obtained eight subjects with one distinction, three grade twos and four grade threes.
