The Kashif and Shanghai organization has once again received the support of two popular business entities, Giftland OfficeMax and German’s Restaurant to ensure the smooth running of their sixth annual Mackeson English/ Kashif and Shanghai Futsal Knockout Tournament.
The two entities on Thursday handed over two cheques of undisclosed amounts to the organization at their respective locations, partnering to come onboard for another successful venture as the tourney kicks off today at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Chief Executive Officer of Giftland OfficeMax, Ian Ramdeo, stated that the company was proud to once again be a part of the tournament and to support the Kashif and Shanghai organization since they have been partners over the years.
“This sponsorship shows that we look forward to working with the organization in the future since Giftland is always proud to be a part of sports and entertainment,” Ramdeo disclosed.
Over at the German’s restaurant where General Manager, Clinton Urling made an official handover to the organization, it was made clear that in this, their second year with the Futsal tournament the business entity, like Giftland, were proud to partner with the promoters.
“German’s (restaurant) operates in society that’s why we give back and we like to be very active in society and contribute to sports throughout the country,” Urling declared.
On the receiving end of the handovers, Frank Parris extended thanks on behalf of the promoters for their continued support which he said went a long way towards the efficient staging of the tourney.
Parris urged more sponsors to come onboard to make this year’s tournament a successful one pointing out that there remained numerous things to be done to get the fans involved and make it possible for players to function freely.
