I am replying to Annan Boodram’s letter (‘No discussion held on Bisram’s performance, qualifications or expertise at campaign finance meeting in Miami’ SN, September 8).
The matter of Mr Bisram’s credibility being discussed at a Peer Review Meeting on campaign financing sponsored by the OAS has been discussed by a participant at that confabulation, Guyanese MP, Sheila Holder. Ms Holder described what took place. See September 5 issue of SN. I have sent off correspondence to Mr Ramdin.
Mr Ramdin will have to explain how he knew no discussion on Bisram took place without asking Ms Sheila Holder who was there. I have used the e-mail address of Ramdin that Mr Boodram published. On hearing from Mr Ramdin, I will offer readers his explanation. Mr Ramdin wasn’t there; Sheila Holder was. At the time , Mr Ramdin was in Guyana, I believe.
