The Bourda and Plaisance Market teams will go head-to-head in the final of the fourth annual Power Stout Inter-Market Football organized by Stabroek Warriors Sports at the Georgetown Club (GFC) ground tonight.
Preceding the final showdown which beings at 8pm, will be the third place battle between Kitty and Stewartville Market teams at 6pm.
The team that claims top honours will walk away with $150,000 while the runner-up, third and fourth place finishers will have to settle for $100,000, $75,000 and $50,000 respectively.
Bourda will be led by former youth national Manasseh Primo who will be supported by Alpha Sylvester and Calvin Shepherd while Plaisance boasts players such as senior national Warren Gilkes, John Heyliger and a number of other established players.
Kitty Market will be led by Omali Nassy, Quincy Madramootoo, Wendell St. Hill, Gordon Henry and Terrence ‘Old Head’ Lewis while Stewartville will have in their line-up Owen Mc Garrell and Leary Loncke.
In the semi-final round of the tournament, Plaisance upset Kitty 1 – 0 and Bourda sank Stewartville 2 – 1 to set up the final showdown.
