Clive Mc Calman of Christianburg scored the first century when play in the East Bank Demerara/Upper Demerara League 20/20 round competition commenced last weekend.
In game one Bayroc defeated Ituni by two wickets.
Bayroc batted first and reached 172-8 from their allotted overs. Keshan Persaud top scored with 30 while Tony Murphy, 2-26 and Emanuel Hercules, 2-22 were the principal wicket-takers.
In reply Ituni were bowled out for 61 in 14.1 overs with Wesley Emanuel top scoring with 13 . Devon Hutson was the pick of the bowlers with 2-6 from two overs while Eon Reynolds picked up 2-10 from three overs.

Christianburg defeated West Watooka by 20 runs. Christianburg batted first after being sent in by West Watooka and scored 135-8 off 18.5 overs.
Rupert Craig 36 and Trevon Spencer 32, were the principal scorers.
Asante Peltair grabbed 3-25 and Clive Mc Calmon 3-27.
West Watooka in reply scored 120-9 with Wayne Seon scoring 33.

Christianburg edged Uprising Young Stars by three runs. Uprising Young Stars batting first reached 115-7 with Kester McQueen 34 the principal scorer.
