The Guyana Ahmadiyya Anjuman Isha’at-I-Islam said Eid Mubarak will be celebrated on Sunday and it extends greetings to all Muslims.
In a press release the group said the joy and happiness associated with the season is because God is pleased that his servants have dutifully carried out one of His commandments.
The group said abstaining from food and drink, moral discipline and charitable acts enhanced the beauty of Ramadhan along with meditative and sincere prayers. “Ramadhan has opened the way for mankind to reach the heights when even on earth one can rise to the sublime heights of experiencing the presence of the heavenly bodies,” the release said.
