Dear Editor,
Re Freddie Kissoon’s letter of September 17 (Questions about pollster’ SN), for the umpteenth time let me emphasize that I never wrote a letter in which I asserted that Bisram makes up for the time he spends polling around the world by teaching in the summer recess.
The real nonsense is that Mr Kissoon continually pens this fabrication with no regard whatever for the truth. The truth is that, in responding to a comment of Kissoon that school is not held in summer, I pointed out that there is summer school in New York at which students are provided an opportunity to make up work at summer school in order to qualify for promotion. Summer school is usually held for all of July and the first week in August.
I do not lie, I do not fabricate, I do not peddle misinformation and I most certainly do not manufacture information. I don’t twist the words of others. My integrity and my honesty have never been questioned. I always differentiate between facts and opinions, I do not present my opinions as the only valid ones. I am more than willing to concede when I’m wrong and I have no problems apologizing to others if I happen to wrong them.
Yours faithfully,
Annan Boodram
