Wicketkeeper Derwin Christian has been named captain of the 13-member Rest Team which will participate in the upcoming Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Inter-County cricket tournament.
Christian, who has been overlooked by the Demerara selectors, will have as his deputy former West Indies player Ryan Ramdass.
The side will be managed by former Guyana player Robert `Pacer’ Adonis and coached by Orin Bailey.
The side also includes U-19 players Trevon Griffith and Alex Amsterdam.
The Inter-County completion swings into action on Tuesday.
