After going down 1-3 last week to an over 35 squad, the shortlisted local over-40 team would do battle again against Santos today at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground as they prepare for an engagement with an over-40 team from Trinidad and Tobago.
The local team will be led by Terrence Archer with Earl O’Neal as Coach while Michael Pierre was named team manager.
Guyana will play their first game against the visiting Point Fortin Civic Centre Old Boys on September 24 and the second game on September 26 at the GFC ground, 7 pm nightly.
The squad is as follows: Andrew Bright, Joylon Lewis, Wayne Peters, Aubrey Adams, Gavin Gibbons, Mark Williams, Ronald Barker, Sham Johnny, Mark Cox, Gordon Brathwaite, Shawn Nedd, Terrence Plummer, Garfield Shepherd, Clive Perry, Stanford Miller, Nicky Thompson, Terrence Archer, Hector Forte, Dallas Sharples and Lloyd Smith.
