PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – Guyana’s Collie Hercules was on target for Tobago United when the T&T Digicel Pro League regular season ended on Sunday with two re-scheduled matches.
A former winner of the Pro League’s “ Top Scorer” award, veteran Guyanese striker Hercules scored in the 25th minute against Defence Force to level the match at 1-1 for Tobago United after they had had fallen behind to a third minute Kerry Joseph strike at the Larry Gomes Stadium.
In the second-half, strikers Kevon Carter (74th) and Devon Jorsling (76th) delivered a quick two-goal blitz that secured the soldiers’ win and the final spot in the “Big Six” competition.
