(Trinidad Express) – No one saw the gunman who wounded a Guyanese national outside a bar in Princes Town on Saturday night.
Euurate Sheppard went behind a nearby tree to urinate and later his friends heard a gunshot. They found the 20-year-old man slumped to the ground.
The shooting occurred around 11 pm. Police believe the gunmen hid in some nearby bushes, waited on Sheppard, then surprised him.
Sheppard, who lives at Indian Walk, Moruga, was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he remained in serious condition.
Princes Town police are continuing investigations.
