Twenty-nine-year-old Excellence Dazzell was on Saturday night crowned the new Miss Renaissance queen. Many who turned up at the National Culture Centre felt that based on the final question alone first runner-up Pamela Atwell was the clear winner. Many persons voiced their displeasure but that did not take away from the radiant Dazzell, who changed her named from Osiea to Excellence by deed poll earlier this year following a dream. She continued to smile and enjoy her crowning. Atwell, a counsellor at the Ministry of Human Services & Social Security, may not have been the favourite from the word go but she stole the hearts of those in the audience following her final answer.
