The US Military Liaison Office has sent a local army officer to Fort Gordon, Georgia to attend the Signal Officer Leadership Course.
In a press statement issued yesterday the US Embassy said that Guyana Defence Force Second Lieutenant Paul Castello has left to attend the four-month training programme, which aims to build leadership skills and tactical competence in communications and data management. The course, the release further said, includes human rights training.
