I refer to an article appearing in your Saturday issue of November 21, captioned ‘Farmer’s attempts to reap justice in vain.’
Please be advised that Mr Warisali had lodged a complaint at this office in September of this year.
The same was forwarded to the Commissioner of Police for an investigation and report. The report has not yet been received from the Commissioner of Police.
On October 15 this year a letter was sent to the complainant informing him of the action taken by the Police Complaints Authority (Copy of letter attached).
I hope that this clears the air on the matter, so far as this office is concerned.
