In a press release the party said it joins with Guyanese in recommitting to the values and embracing the significance of Abraham’s sacrifice. Abraham’s sacrifice was based on his obedience to God and provides a guide for how individuals should live.
“We therefore call for a national change of attitude that will lead to a willingness to make sacrifices in our lives in order for us, as a nation, to return to, and remain on, the Straight Path,” the release said. It added that the corrupting vices of greed and selfishness must be eradicated from among leaders in order that they may inspire the people.
