In a press release the IAC said Ibraheem faced many challenges in his quest to submit himself to his creator and to lead his people. He overcame them through faith, patience and dedication.
The IAC said it stands ready to work along with Muslims to eradicate poverty from Guyana. It also extended wishes that citizens embrace the lessons of Eid to build greater family values, promote peace, brotherhood and unity.
