Carl Husbands, the injured man was taken to a city hospital where he is receiving medical attention.
Police said in a release that they are investigating the shooting which occurred around 9:15 am during which Husbands, 45 years, was shot and injured to his right elbow.
Investigations revealed that Husbands was in the process of parking a vehicle when a motor car with four men inside drove up alongside. One of the men exited the vehicle and discharged a round at Husbands which struck him to his elbow and the men escaped.
Police investigations are continuing.
