A security guard who suffered from a medical complication was yesterday morning found dead in a guard hut outside an East Street, South Cummingsburg house and the body bore no signs of violence.
Dead is Frankie Waldron of Lot 339 East Street, Cummingsburg.
The area where the man was found is located a stone’s throw from his home and residents were adamant that there was no foul play involved.
The man’s friend who declined to have his name mentioned told this newspaper that sometime after 7 am, he was informed of the man’s death and when he visited the guard hut, Wilson was sitting motionless in a chair.
He said that the man had a medical complication which required surgery and in the days leading up to his death, Waldron complained of being unable to eat, discomfort in his stomach and vomiting. However the man refused to go to the hospital.
The man who described himself as Waldon’s good friend said that he visited the dead man on Monday night and he complained of feeling cold.
“He been sweating a lot. I even bring him a chair to sit on because the stool he had wasn’t too comfortable”, the man said adding that he used Waldron’s shirt to make a pillow to rest his head on.
The body is at the Lyken’s Funeral home awaiting a post-mortem examination.
