The Kashif and Shanghai Organisation is continuing to receive financial support from one of its oldest sponsors Banks DIH Limited.
The local beverage giants recently presented in excess of two million dollars which will go towards the 20th annual Kashif and Shanghai Christmas tournament billed to kick off on December 13 at the National Stadium at Providence. Banks DIH Sales and Marketing Executive, Carlton Joao, presented the cheque to directors of the Kashif and Shanghai organisation Kashif Muhammad and Aubrey “Shanghai” Major at a simple ceremony at Banks DIH head office at Thirst Park recently.
Joao said that four of Banks products, Coca Cola, Aqua Mist Water, Banks Beer and Power Stout will be branded during the three-week tournament that will feature matches in Georgetown, Linden, Berbice and East Coast Demerara.
Muhammad said Banks has been a faithful partner over the years.
He said when the tournament was launched some 20 years ago, Banks DIH Limited presented a cheque for $4000 which he noted has grown over the years.
Also present at the handing over ceremony were Banks Soft Drinks Brand Manager, Jennifer Khan and Power Stout Sales Consultant, Michael Fung.
