Caribbean Development Bank President, Dr Compton Bourne moments after he was installed as the 8th Chancellor of the University of Guyana yesterday at the George Walcott Lecture Theatre, Turkeyen Campus. Bourne brings a wealth of experience to the post and is expected to steer the university through a challenging period. He is the fifth Guyanese to be chancellor of the university and his predecessor, Dr. Bertrand Ramcharan, served from 2004 to 2007.
