A couple was last week remanded to jail by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson for simple larceny when they appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Reena Rampersaud and Navendra Harricharan were alleged to have stolen $1,430,000 from Malcom Panday on December 7 in Georgetown.
The pair is to return to court on December 30.
