Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Ernest Hilaire will be the guest speaker at the annual awards ceremony of the Guyana Cricket Board later this month.
President of the GCB Chetram Singh yesterday told Stabroek Sport that while the GCB has not finalized the list of invites, it had already decided on Hilaire to deliver the keynote address.
The event will be held at the Umana Yana on December 29 and Singh said the GCB had not yet decided on the winners of the various awards including the prestigious Cricketer of the Year award.
Singh said the GCB was awaiting the completion of all tournaments run by
the GCB this year including the annual schools competition which is currently in progress.
