Luck was on the side of those travelling in this Route 44 (Georgetown/Mahaica) minibus last evening. As minibus BKK 7617 was moving east along the northern carriageway of the Hope, East Coast Demerara Public Road, the driver lost control. The vehicle, according to reports, swerved and toppled on its side in a drain just off the roadway.
