Two men are nursing injuries at the Georgetown Public Hospital after being hit by vehicles on Sunday in separate incidents.
Around 19:10 hrs on Sunday, 29-year-old Marlon Bradshaw was taken to the hospital after he was reportedly involved in a hit and run accident at Church and Camp streets. Bradshaw was treated for a head injury and lacerations to his back and feet and was admitted a patient in the High Dependency Unit of the hospital, a press release said.
Meanwhile, Shaka Chase, 25, of 169 East Ruimveldt was taken to the Georgetown Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit after he was allegedly hit by a car while he was riding his motorcycle along Mandela Avenue. He was admitted a patient of the Male Surgical Ward nursing injuries to his face and chest.
