Right start for first-born babies

On New Year’s Day Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited honoured first-born babies in Berbice, Essequibo, Georgetown and Linden.  A release said that each first-born was visited by representatives of Republic Bank. RightStart Accounts will be set up for each of the infants with a starting balance of $20,000. The mothers of the babies also received a RightStart Baby Care Hamper worth approximately $30,000.
