An 80-year-old man died on Thursday after he was hit by a car at the junction of Norton and Chapel streets.

Cyril Haley from North Ruimveldt was rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital at 11:40 hours. According to a hospital release, Haley died while receiving medical treatment.
