Newly opened business entity Fitness Express (47 Sheriff Street, Campbellville) yesterday presented a cheque to promoter Carwyn Holland as part sponsorship for the January 29 `New Year’s Beatings’ card set for the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Managing Director, Jamie McDonald, said he was encouraged to get on board when he heard Holland announcing that he was giving all the profits from the event to the Haiti relief drive initiated by the government.

Holland, in brief remarks, stated that many boxers and other sportsmen died in the massive quake and it was only fitting that he play a part in the relief effort.

Fitness Express supplies nutritional supplements, vitamins, and fitness accessories among other products and  cater for the needs of all athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
