Set 41 runs for victory after DCC were dismissed for 173 in their second innings, TSC romped to 42-2 to be crowned champions with Mark Nicholson ending on an unbeaten 28.

Earlier, TSC, resuming on 234-8 in their first innings were dismissed for 256.
Shafiek Ishmael top scored with 88 while Mark Nicholson and Shawn Massiah contributed 51 and 47 runs respectively.
Kevin George 4-32 was the most successful bowler for DCC while Edward Burnett, Matthew Marques and Linden Lyght claimed two wickets each.
George returned in the DCC second innings to slam the topscore of 79 in the total of 173 while the experienced Gladwin Brandis supported with 27.
Azim Azeez 3-28, Ishmael 3-34 and Ryan Jones, 2-31were the principal wicket takers.
Ishmael was adjudged the man of the match.
At the presentation ceremony Ace Warriors, despite not reaching the final, captured three individual awards.
Abzal Gafoor captured the best bowler and best all rounder awards while M. Stevenson was adjudged the best batsman of the tournament ahead of Massiah who slammed two of the 13 centuries.
President of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Alfred Mentore congratulated the winning team while observing that they “played like champions over the week-end.”
Mentore also thanked the sponsors.
Former GCA president Bishwa Panday, on behalf of the sponsors, P&P Insurance Brokers, said his company was happy to co-sponsor the competition.
“We at P&P were very happy to co-sponsor this competition as I am sure my good friend Mr. Michael Cummings was also,” said Panday.
“We wish to congratulate the GCA for the professional way the competition was handled. I congratulate both the DCC and Transport for reaching the final and Transport for winning the competition.
“Guyana’s cricket is not without its challenges and we hope that by investing in this competition we can play some small part in its revival,” said Panday, a former secretary of the Guyana Cricket Board.
He added:”GCA has a responsibility to aid in this revival and from my perspective, I feel Mr. Mentore and his team are conscious of their responsibilities and are working assiduously in the discharge of these responsibilities.
“We also urge the GCA to have its full menu of competitions this year from U15 to first division including the over 40,” Panday declared.
