Peter Green was given the nod to return as the president of the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) when that body held its annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday at the Tropical View Hotel in Campbellville.

Green will have current Caribbean champion ‘Big’ John Edwards as his deputy while former Chief Education Officer Ed Caesar was voted in as the new secretary.

Mark Seymour is the Public Relation Officer (PRO) and Edward Livan the treasurer.

The committee members are Gordon Spencer, Wendell McPherson and Farouk Abdool.

The GAPLF’s plans to stage the fourth Caribbean Power Lifting and Bench Press Championships from March 18-20.
