Simpli Royal Day Spa led by Dillon and a small team has opened its doors to the public, but by appointment only. The Spa seeks to offer to interested customers, particularly women, personal services which includes body care, hair care, facials and aromatherapy.
“Anything to do with beautification of the body is what we are offering,” Dillon said of the Spa during the opening on Saturday last.
Among the menu of services she is offering, Dillon cited manicures, pedicures, body massages and body buffing. She said the aim is to “soothe the senses and help people relax, de-stress…”
The decision to go by appointments was taken because the plan is to cater to the customer exclusively. Dillon said the Spa’s strength would be in the services, adding that it would be opened officially from January 25 from10 am to 8 pm.
She explained the Spa had been on her agenda for some time and that she felt now was a good time to introduce it. Dillon is aware of how competitive the market is saying “I’ve noticed there are a lot of salons out there”. However, she said the Simpli Royal Day Spa has stepped up its services.
“We have shopped around and our fragrances have a different appeal,” Dillion stated. She said the speciality would be a chocolate fix, noting that a chocolate fragrance would be infused into the services. She pointed out that there would be add-on services if customers desire another scent.
On the issue of pricing, she said the Spa has stayed within the range of what the Guyanese public can afford. She cited an example saying the thermal facial would range between $4,500 to $5,000.
