A man who was allegedly found with a little over six kilos of cocaine at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri  was charged on Monday.

Wesley Elton Wiggins appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton charged with trafficking in narcotics. It is alleged that on January 30 Wiggins had 6.477 kilogrammes of cocaine at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport attempting to export same.

Wiggins was subsequently remanded to jail.
