Police on Thursday recovered a boat and engine with another engine on board, all suspected to have been stolen between Bartica and Parika.

According to a statement issued by police, at around 5 pm, a wooden boat with a 75 horse power Yamaha engine attached and a 40 horsepower Yamaha engine on board was found moored at the Rosignol Fishing Warf, West Bank Berbice.

Police said investigations are in progress.
