Mohanlall ‘Santo’ Dinanauth added two more trophies to his collection when he won the A.H. and L Kissoon Group of Companies sponsored Medal Play golf tournament Saturday at Lusignan Golf course, East Coast Demerara.
The former Guyana Open champion recorded a net 68 from a gross 69 playing off a one handicap. He also had the best gross.
Lester Alvis, Courts Guyana Inc. Country Manager, secured the runner-up spot with a net 69 from a gross 82 playing off a 13 handicap.
Banking executive Esau Shamshudin occupied the third spot with a net 70 from a gross 84 playing off a 14 handicap.
Brian Hackett, treasurer of the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) was Nearest to the Pin.
Hemraj Kissoon, Managing Director of the Kissoon Group of Companies and who participated in the tournament, said he was delighted to sponsor the event.
The former LGC president said his company was committed to assisting the club and offered to sponsor another tournament in the future.
Current LGC president Mel Sankies thanked Kissoon for his continued support.
Thirty players competed in the tournament.
