The exhibition is open to the public and will run until Friday, a press release from the Government Information Agency (GINA) said. Hinds expressed appreciation for the GRC and pointed out that Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Priya Manickchand was particularly grateful for its response to persons in times of crisis. He also used the opportunity to urge citizens to continue to support its work.
Meanwhile, CEO at the GEB Security Service Maurice Amres said the exhibition was organised in order to promote the GRC’s activities. “People are not too familiar or acquainted with the role of GRC in aiding assistance to victims and with this exhibition it will help to highlight and promote some of the work of the council.”
