This Route 31 minibus slammed into an electricity pole in the middle of the Agricola, East Bank Demerara double lane highway last night. The bus was reportedly speeding and attempted to avoid a head-on collision with a car turning from a street. Nine persons were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital. Two, who suffered broken legs, were admitted.
