Tucville Secondary School yesterday at the National Cultural Centre during the Children’s Mash-ramani Competition.
Yesterday in the children’s Mashramani Competition presented by the Depart-ment of Education this young masquerade dancer of St Barnabas Special School was one of only three dancers who performed in the competition and he was also the most impressive.
The Tutorial High School had all at the National Cultural Centre on their feet jumping and waving as they performed ‘Overload’. The group upped the ante by including local artist Jumo as part of their performance. The performance `overloaded’ the crowd and earned the school the right to represent Georgetown next week at the National Children’s Mashramani Competition. Although not a winner, Richard Ishmael Secondary School added some colour to their rhythm and drew screams from the crowd for their gyrations yesterday at the National Cultural Centre during the dance and masquerade display of the Children’s Mashramani Competition.
