Dear Editor,
I wish to congratulate all Guyanese who have been touched by Haiti’s massive disaster and so many personal everyday disasters with which we are acquainted and are too numerous to mention. We know the old saying, ‘Love begins at home.’
I wish to bring to the attention of readers a very sick and helpless man named Horace, who is on and around Bourda Street every day. He is about forty, and among his many problems he has an undressed, oozing sore which no one likes to neither see or smell; on account of this he is shunned by all.
He needs to be transported to an institution where he can receive treatment and the other necessities required by human beings.
Yours faithfully,
Norma Prince
