Police have arrested four men suspected of robbing two La Grange pump attendants of more than $100,000 cash and other items on Thursday night.

The incident, according to a police press release, occurred at about 10.10 pm at the Two Brothers gas station located in La Grange, West Bank Demerara. Four men in an AT 192 Toyota Carina motor car, two of whom were armed with handguns, approached the pump attendants.  The pump attendants were held at gunpoint and relieved of $128,000, their cellular phones and jewellery.

Police later recovered the car at a home in Evan Phillips Park, Agricola.

Four men were subsequently arrested and are assisting with the investigations.  The car was also detained by the police.
