The fifth form students of Mackenzie High School (MHS) will be hosting a two-day inter-house basketball competition which commences today, in keeping with the School-Based Assessment (SBA) for the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC).
Defending champions Grant House, Cambridge House, Car House and Blacket House will headline the tournament which will tip off at 10:00hrs on both days at the MHS Court.
Today, Game One will see Cambridge going head to head with Car House then Blacket will meet Grant in the feature match.
Cambridge features the likes of Coliwick Benjamin, Shackee Charles and Kyle Stewart who will be leading the way while Car House will be looking for a good performance from their leading players, Dellon Campbell and Tyson Benntick.
With players like Deval Wilson, Quincy Easton and Parish Codagon, Blacket House will be playing with confidence of dethroning Grant House that has Colin Bobb and Joel Webster heading the charge in the hope of successfully defending their title.
