Dear Editor,
Over the past two weeks, the residents of Regions 5 and 6 have been plagued with an invasion of mosquitoes.
To date nothing has been done to alleviate the discomfort presently being experienced by residents.
However, it must be noted that the regional office and its environs are not within the affected area, which runs from Ithaca Village to just outside Woodley Park.
Apparently gone are the days when villages were fumigated in order to control vector problems.
In my view, it seems like situations like these have been put on the back burner.
Yours faithfully,
Juliet Dukhi
