Mark Lashley wins Charlise Adams Mashramani golf tourney

Mark Lashley had a lot to celebrate when he won the Charlise Adams Mashramani Stableford Golf tournament Sunday at the Lusignan Golf Club, East Coast Demerara.

Lashley had an excellent day on the course in ideal weather conditions and returned 40 points in an impressive victory.

Canadian Charles Hiebert continued to find the Lusignan course to his liking in securing second position with 36 points.

It was the second time that Hiebert was on the podium this season.

Bruce Cummings performed superbly to take the third position with a close 35 points.

Nearest to the Pin (NTP) was Dr. Ram Singh.

Carlos Adams, Managing Director of Adzer Win Doors, who sponsored the tournament in recognition of his young daughter Charlise, offered to stage another tournament next year during the Mashramani celebrations.

Little Charlise thanked the 34 players for participating in the tournament in brief remarks.

William Walker, who spoke on behalf of the Lusignan golf Club, thanked Adams for his support.

Adams also presented a cheque to the LGC as part of the sponsorship.
